We meet cruise passengers inside the Port Chalmers Cruise Terminal, just after disembarkation. Look for our guide holding a Skyline Dunedin Day Tours sign. For guests staying in Dunedin city, we also offer hotel pickup within the central area—please contact us in advance to arrange this.
Start times vary based on cruise schedules and guest location. For cruise passengers, pickup is usually around 30 minutes after your ship’s scheduled arrival. If you’ve booked a private tour, we offer flexible pickup times—but please arrange any changes before the day of travel.
Our tours involve light walking and multiple stops, and we do our best to accommodate guests with limited mobility. However, we do not provide wheelchairs, and some areas (especially for wildlife viewing) may have uneven terrain. Feel free to contact us before booking.
We often see sea lions, albatrosses, and occasionally penguins along the Otago Peninsula. While sightings can't be guaranteed, our guides select the best locations and times to maximize your chances. All wildlife encounters are conducted respectfully, and we strictly follow DOC (Department of Conservation) regulations—please follow your guide’s instructions at all times.
Our standard tour duration is approximately 6 hours. Slight variations may occur depending on cruise docking times, traffic, or seasonal conditions.
Our tours are primarily conducted in English, but we also offer Mandarin (普通话) and Cantonese (粤语) upon request. Please let us know your language preference at the time of booking so we can arrange a suitable guide for your group.
Yes. We offer private small-group tours that can be tailored to your preferred schedule, pace, and interests. Pickup time and itinerary adjustments are available if arranged in advance. We do not recommend making changes on the day of the tour.
No special fitness level is required. Our tours are designed for relaxed travel with minimal walking, making them suitable for most guests.
In the case of severe weather, we may cancel the tour for safety and provide a 100% refund. While we monitor forecasts closely, weather conditions can change unexpectedly, and we cannot accept responsibility for disruptions caused by weather.
We operate modern, comfortable vans and minibuses suited for small groups. You’ll enjoy an unhurried experience with plenty of photo stops and scenic drives.
Yes, children are welcome. Let us know in advance if a car seat is needed. Our tours are family-friendly, flexible, and paced comfortably for all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
